Yeah I forgot to mention that I got my hair cut. I had it cut short before and then I got it cut even shorter last Monday. It's OK, I don't have to do too much to it in the morning, which is what I like! I just don't have the time to make it perfect.

Anyway, I had another doc. appt. yesterday and he tried to "tickle the baby's head" to help start labor. So far, not a whole lot going on but I have been having contractions alot but my water hasn't broken yet so we'll kind of wait and see.

I saw "we own the night" in the theater. I didn't think it was all that good. I wouldn't waste any money on it if I were you, go see something else is my suggestion.

Lookin' good, Jenna...getting pretty big (in a good way, of course!) :) I talked to April last week & she told me about the date getting pushed up at the ultrasound. Anyhow, can't wait for the little guy to be here! Hope you got the package I sent for him. :) (by the way, your hair looks cute...didn't know you had cut it shorter.)

That aisle looks pretty standard for a Catholic church, KT...pretty much always long like that (except SW, which is too modern if you ask me...). Anyhow, we'll make it!

April...I checked for movie times. They don't have them posted yet for Findlay. They do for Levis/Tiffin, but we own the night is gone from those 2 also...so I guess there's not much point in going to either of them.

Katie, the aisle is long, but it's just as long as the one you all walked in Raeville. Eric and I tried to look for pics of it in our album, but they only took pictures half way through. I do believe I had at least a 150' aisle runner at the wedding that didn't quite go all the way down the aisle, or it went down just enough. Either way, it's not a big deal, practice walking and it'll get shorter :)


I do have some pictures to post of me before the baby gets here so I have some things to put in his scrapbook.

Hey girls :) Liz, you're not boring! Hope ya'll are doing well. This is my 1st free weekend (grading aside, which I finished in a record time of 7 hours) that I've had in a month or so! Scott and I rented some movies tonight, and he's out picking up Mexican take out, woo hoo. I talked to Jenna today, her boss is a biaatch! Maybe not as bad as April's old boss, but bad enough. I can't complain too much about my job. I called Liz yest to ask her about urinalysis, LOL. But no answer :( I bet you were out doing something...

The bachelorette party pix looked like a fun time! We did pick a reception location, yay, and it was nice to be home, even though it went so fast it seems like it never happened! It will be at Fore Lakes Golf Club in St. Clair Michigan on 10-10-08 :)

Last weekend I went to DC for work, which was better than I thought it would be. Working over the weekend is not my idea of fun, but the meetings were more interesting than last year, and it was nice that they were right in DC rather than Baltimore. It's movie time! I was going to put up some pix, but the site is having some technical difficulties, so I will try that again later.

I'll get back to you with Christmas ideas, haven't had time to think about it yet.

I go in for my ultrasound Friday afternoon. I don't know if he'll move my date up or not-I guess we'll see!

I am really beginning to despise my principal, I swear she just wants me to walk in and quit!! I got a really bad review/observation from her this time. It's because I questioned her authority about a workshop I wanted to go to. Now, she basically ripped me a new one on my observation (which goes in my file too) and she was not very nice. Well, she wants to talk about it on Friday. I have been venting about it to everyone all day today. I keep thinking it will cause me to go into labor. LOL. I almost wish it would, and would serve her right, cuz then she would have to get a sub sooner, I don't think there are any available right now!

Anyway, I'm pretty pissed at her. I like teaching overall, just not with her as the principal. She doesn't have very good communication skills and she criticizes without giving a solution to problems. It really bothers me. I mean, after all, we were taught to be professional and keep things smooth with coworkers, but she accused me of saying and doing things that I didn't do! It makes me feel like shit, and I really want to just tell her where to go, but hopefully I will maintain my cool and hopefully she can tell me how to fix things (probably bend over and kiss her butt) - do you really see me doing this??? LOL

Ok anyway, on a lighter note, I will let you know how things go this Friday. I wish I had you guys around...I miss your insight. I miss April trying to make it all better and Liz telling me how good I am as a teacher and Katie just telling me how it is and what the other person might be thinking.......sigh......

So, hopefully things will improve.....

Looks like a lot of fun, April! It does sound like a good place for a bachelorette party, especially the 'suite' with 2 floors! Anyhow, I don't really have anything to share on my end (do I ever...I swear, I've got to be about the most boring person on Earth!). I am gettin' busy doing my christmas shopping :) I've gotten a few ideas from Jenna for her & Emma...nothing from everybody else! I know we want to do a little more low key, but I would like a few little ideas, KT (besides books :) ), & a list from you too, April!

Have you had the ultrasound yet, Jenna?? Any word on if the due date will change??

Busy week!

Well I have had one hell of a busy week! Last Saturday I had my Alpha homecoming and then Katie came home and we went to St. Clair, MI where Scott's parents live on Sunday and stayed until Tuesday. We looked at 4 different possibilities for reception sites and I am glad to say we found a great place with the help of Scott's mom. His parents are pretty cool....I had alot of fun but it was exhausting. Then I went back to work on Wednesday and worked through Friday. Hung out with Liz on Thursday and we saw The Brave One....it was a good movie, I recommend it! Then Saturday I went to Fort Wayne, IN for my cousins bachelorette party.........really fun.....thinking that the place we went might be an awesome place to have Katie's. The bar had several rooms with different music in each and one room had a live band which we danced on stage with LOL! See below for pics. We stayed at a Residence Inn and our room was just like a small apartment. It had an upstairs.....2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room with a fireplace.....really cool. So that is an idea. Now I am back to work and hopefully a bit of a normal schedule.

Awesome, April! My mom & I joined the Y...I'll be doing the treadmill, ellipticals, etc after work in the mornings on my way home. That's my problem (mostly)...finding time to do it. I don't really like getting up in the afternoon/evening & having to go somewhere to exercise. So, hopefully after work in the AM will work.

Yeah, I'm agreeing with April that I would like to get you guys at least a little something, so ideas would be good (I see Jenna has posted some, though...so get on it KT & April :) ).

Hope you guys find a place for the reception this weekend!

Update

So I have about a month left, right?

Well, at my last dr. appt. he said he wants to do another ultrasound for the next appointment so we can get a better idea of when the baby will get here. So, in 2 weeks I go back in for a 3rd ultrasound. It makes me kind of anxious/nervous. I know he just wants to check the size, but I have a feeling he may move the date up. Please don't hope for a Halloween baby! LOL. Ok, I know it doesn't matter, but that's what I'm thinking would happen. Last ultrasound said he measured 2 weeks ahead of when the date was and since we're not totally sure of the conception date, we just have to trust that he will be here when he's fully cooked!

It's hard to believe Riley will be here in a month! I don't know if I'm really ready for it. It just seems like I will have way too much on my plate. Hopefully I won't get too much I can't handle.

As far as Christmas goes, I can honestly say that if it's Pampered Chef and can help me make food easier, I'll like it :) Actually, you can buy Pampered Chef products online now I discovered. I got a few things from Dad for Christmas. I could use another potato peeler for sure (Walmart peelers SUCK) and sometimes it's nice to have 2! A classic batter bowl, Apple Wedger, Core & More, Chef Tongs,or Deep Dish Stone Pie Plate. Any of those would be good for Jenna!!

Emma could actually use a jacket for the fall, but so far we haven't really had a need, considering today it was 85 outside. I just hope we don't get a huge snowfall at like the end of October or something! I'm also trying to look for a kitchenette set because she is at the point of where she likes to put things inside of other things and she likes to pick up. She enjoys those pretend toys now too. She has this Cinderella dishes and cups she likes to play with and she's beginning to use her imagination-it's so cute to watch :)

So I guess that's what I have for now. I'll put some pictures up soon!

I am also glad that you had someone there with you to help you shop. Wish I could have been there. Anyway cant wait to see you on Sunday!

Christmas...I think it is fine if everyone wants to go a bit low key since we have some big events coming up with the new baby and baptism trips and wedding blitz. So everyone put on their sentimental caps and get to work :) I would like to give a couple of gifts so if you want to give me some ideas that would be great.
