Holiday Weekend :)

Sup gals? Just thought I would put up this silly picture of me and the cow. There's cows like this all over the city, they painted them for charity, I'm not sure what for. So I got a Memo today at my apartment, they noticed many of us are throwing away recyclables, and want us to start recycling more. There's something you're not too likely to see in Ohio.

This week has gone really fast. I stayed at Scott's last weekend, and commuted from there. It wasn't too bad of a ride on the commuter rail, but I think we might just stay where we are for now. I've been drivin Scott nuts cuz I can't make up my mind whether I want to move or not, so he made me shake on not moving... in hopes that I'll stop talking about it, hah!

This weekend he's gonna stay here at my place. The OSU Alumni club is gathering to watch the Bucks Saturday at a bar here in town, so we'll probably check that out. Monday night we're going to a Red Sox game :) I hope Scott is feeling better (he was kinda sick yest and today) cuz we've been looking forward to the game! I'm excited about my 1st holiday since I started working, I still have about 2 months before my probation period is over. I'm not allowed to take any days off until then. Which is fine because I'm saving them for the holidays anyhow.

I talked with my mom last night, she is doing a somewhat experimental depression treatment. It's sort of like a pacemaker for the brain, it's called a Vagus Nerve Stimulator... in case Liz feels inclined to look it up :) It used to just for Epilepsy, but they discovered it had "happy" side-effects, LOL. She's been feeling better, and sounded really good on the phone. I'm excited for her, I think this thing might actually be working. If not, at least it's having a good placebo effect for now. My family has actually been surprisingly mellow about my move. It doesn't seem to bother my dad, it's about the same as me being in Columbus for him. I think my brother was pretty upset, but he's hoping to fly out here by himself sometime.

Have a great weekend!
