Hello all

Well, here's the latest on Jenna & family........

I can't believe that Emma will be 1 year old pretty soon!!! We plan on having her birthday party sometime at the end of May, I think May 19 or 20th. Anyway, she's getting so much bigger. I have a lot of pictures on my camera phone, but I'm not quite sure how to get them online yet! Ugghh! I'll figure it out soon enough.

If you haven't found out already, we're expecting #2. When I went to the doc. on April 9 he said I would be due November 9.

OK, Iknow there's been some talk about a Baptism and when we're going to do it. To be honest, I hadn't even thought of any of that until April mentioned it. I was too busy thinking that we're going to need another carseat (a bigger one than a carrier when the new one gets bigger) a highchair,a stroller (possibly a double stroller?) I think we'll get another crib from Eric's mom to borrow so I don't have to worry about that.
Well, I know you're all going to hate us, but after much discussion with Eric, we're most likely going to still have it in November or possibly December if Nov. doesn't work. I honestly don't see Thanksgiving as that "big " of a holiday as compared to Christmas. Basically, my Dad said he would be here in November after the baby gets here so he can see both of the grandkids. I haven't really thought about who the godparents will be for this one, either. But, just to mention, I don't think the godparents necessarily have to be there, but I always believe that it is important for godparents to be there for the godchild no matter what, so I will probably keep that in mind. I know that it may be hard for some to change work schedules or get time off, but it would be during a holiday, so that might help.

What are your thoughts/feelings on this subject????

As far as work goes, well....it kinda sucks right now. I'm kinda getting tired of all of these stupid meetings that we have to do. I JUST WANT TO TEACH! ARGHHH!
Ok, so here's the deal. Our current 5th grade teacher is moving and took another job at a different school, so the 5th grade job will be open for next year. Being the doofus that I am; it didn't even occur to me that I should talk to the administration about changing positions. I don't think anyone in the HS/JRH that would be interested in it but me. I do know that the current 4th grade teacher is interested in it. The supt. asked me if I cared which grade I would be teaching, I said with a resounding "NO!". I think she wants to move from 4th to 5th b/c of the standards tests you have to give at 4th grade. I don't care, I'm used to doing all of those tests!!!! Anyway, I really hope I get this job. I know there's people who have applied for the job, but I think they generally give preference to teachers already in the school system. They said they would get back to me last week, but the supt. was gone most of it. Hopefully I will know by this next week, so I can decide what I want to do! Send me good luck vibes!!!

Ok, that's all for now. Love ya
JLO
